The Institute of Applied Medical Engineering, Biohybrid & Medical Textils -Respiratory Tissue Engineering- is looking for a
Postdoc Position in Organ-on-a-Chip/Tissue Engineering (f/m/d)
Duration/Term of employment: 2 years with option of prolongation
Start date: as soon as possible
Remuneration/Rates: EG 13 (TV-L)
The Department of Biohybrid and Medical Textiles at the Institute of Applied Medical Engineering focuses on developing tissue-engineering solutions to address clinical needs and provide models for basic research. The Respiratory Tissue Engineering Group is a young, motivated, interdisciplinary, and international team working together to advance complex in vitro modeling.
Qualification profile and skills:
- PhD in biology, tissue engineering, biomedical engineering or similar
- Highly motivated attitude, with the ability to work and make decisions independently
- Collaborative working style
- Strong interest in in vitro research
- Relevant experience with iPSC culture or organ-on-chip application
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (Level C1)
- Experience in molecular biology techniques such as transcriptomics/single-cell sequencing is a plus
